David James Zoppi is an award-winning musician and has an extensive musical

background. Dave studied Music Theory at the Hartford Conservatory of Music,

and has received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and the Liberace Keyboard Entertainer

Search Award for the New England Region. 

 

His workshops are for advanced pianists who wish to take their talent  to the 'next level' and learn the art of performance and learn to make a real living in the music business performing at weddings, private parties, special functions and more as a solo performer or with a band or ensemble.

 

Mr. Zoppi's workshops are progressive and involve ensembles

where advanced learners are empowered and motivated to learn to play electronic keyboards and learn popular music while gaining experience working together collectively on modern songs while learning improvisational skills and performing such musical genres as:  Jazz, Soul, R&B, Contemporary and more. Business aspects will also be covered in the workshop.

Student will also learn how to: Play while using an electronic drummer, use keyboard presets,  learn about the different types of musical instruments and equipment used in performing, the importance of  music memorization for live performance settings, musical group dynamics and more...
